erdbeerkuchenDuring the month of March, on Friday, Saturday and Sundays a local farmer sells strawberries on the side of the road.  Yes, they are delicious and home grown.  I have gotten in the habit of buying some every weekend.  Last week I served them as dessert with blueberries, and cooked the leftovers for a topping on ice cream.  This week I made a cake.  Hopefully my friends will be able to visit with me on Wednesday, and we will enjoy what is left of these delicious goodies.
